On the afternoon of May 20, Mayor Ding Chun met with Zhao Guoxiong, Executive Director of CK Asset Holdings Limited and the first chairman of Changhzou Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
Ding Chun greeted the arrival of Zhao Guoxiong and his delegation and thanked him for his long-term support for Changzhou, his hometown. He hoped that Zhao will make new contributions to the high-quality development of Changzhou.
Zhao said that besides Changhzou Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, he will also drive the Wujin and Jintan Associations to support the development of Changzhou. Meanwhile, he hoped Changzhou will strengthen IPR protection and create a better environment to attract more talent and projects to Changzhou.
Zhao was appointed as Executive Director of CK Asset Holdings Limited in 2000, mainly in charge of the real estate business. For many years, Zhao has been actively promoting the exchange and cooperation between Changzhou and Hong Kong. He took part in the establishment of Changhzou Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and served as its first chairman. Every year, he will lead the professionals in industry and commerce, finance, education and other fields in Hong Kong to visit Changzhou for research and investment.
Han Jiuyun, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and Director of the United Front Department of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, and Hang Yong, Secretary General of the Municipal Government, were also present at the meeting.
