On March 14, a delegation led by Zhou Minhao, director of Shanghai Putuo District, came to Changzhou. Accompanied by Cao Jiazhong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and executive deputy mayor of Changzhou, the delegation visited the Israel Center of the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park and the CI3 Incubator. Dr. Eyal Propper, the Consul General of Israel in Shanghai, and Li Lin, deputy mayor of Changzhou, secretary of the CPC Wujin District Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wujin National High-tech Industrial Zone, attended the inspection and meeting.
Since the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park was officially established, Changzhou has explored the investment and M&A model of “capital + market + M&A channel” and has attracted many domestic well-known capitals to conduct investment mergers and acquisitions in Israel. Up to now, the Park has gathered 81 Israeli and China-Israel cooperation enterprises, taking a lead in both the number of companies and the variety of industrial sectors. Among them, the CI3 Incubator has incubated more than 20 Israeli companies.
At the meeting, both sides agreed that Shanghai has the best resources in the country in terms of innovation platforms, innovative resources and financial capital, while Changzhou is in a good foundation at the level of industrial cooperation with Israel. In the future, the two sides will have frequent exchanges, stay in close contact, learn from each other, promote common improvement and strengthen cooperation between China and Israel.
