On the afternoon of October 9, deputy mayor Li Lin met with Feng Jianfu, chairman of the Federal General Commercial Association of Macau Small and Medium Enterprises, at the Administration Center of Wujin District in Changzhou. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on further strengthening cooperation and promoting successful project execution.
Li Lin welcomed the arrival of Feng Jianfu and his delegation. He said that the Association of Macau Small and Medium Enterprises promotes the sustainable development of SMEs in Macao by uniting small and medium-sized enterprises in the region, safeguarding their common interests and improving the regional business environment.
Li hopes that the association will set up a group of high-quality and environmentally friendly projects in Wujin and play a leading role in the promotion of trade and economic cooperation between the two places. The CPC Wujin District Committee and the District Government will, as always, support the development of Macao enterprises in Wujin.
Feng Jianfu said that in the face of current global development trends, the small and medium-sized enterprises in the Macao region see both opportunities and challenges. The purpose of the association is to help enhance the competitiveness of its members. The Jiangsu-Macao Cooperation Park is a major program decided by the two places, which is also an opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises in Macao to usher in a new round of development. It is hoped that through this visit, the association will further promote cooperation with Wujin to make new progress in project signing and settlement and open a new chapter for cooperation between the two places.
After the meeting, the two sides held a seminar. Liu Zhifeng, deputy chief of Wujin district, participated in the event and witnessed the signing of cooperation projects between Wujin and Macao.
