The Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue 2024 was held in Changzhou on September 5. This year’s event, themed “Deepening Integration, Green Development,” aimed to enhance cooperation in industrial collaboration and drive green industrial transformation. During the event, ten cooperation agreements were signed, covering fields such as equipment manufacturing, electric vehicle components, and biopharmaceuticals.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue has been held in Changzhou. In recent years, Changzhou has continuously deepened its cooperation with Germany, fostering a strong atmosphere for collaboration. Currently, the city hosts 255 German-invested enterprises, establishing itself as a new hub for German investment in the Yangtze River Delta and across the nation. Additionally, local universities such as Changzhou University and Jiangsu University of Technology have engaged in joint training programs, cooperative education, and laboratory projects with German institutions. Numerous vocational colleges in the city have also partnered with German educational organizations to offer specialized programs and build training centers, cultivating a large pool of highly skilled professionals.
