The Changzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Center recently announced the completion of the annual interest distribution for the city's housing provident fund in 2023. A total of 726 million yuan in interest has been distributed to more than 1.79 million depositors from 58,621 employers, averaging 405.23 yuan per person. The interest is automatically credited to each individual's housing provident fund account.
According to statistics, compared to the same period last year, the number of employers and employees making monthly deposits to the housing provident fund has increased by 9.89% and 7.38% respectively. The total amount of housing provident fund deposits has reached 52.648 billion yuan, marking a 14.64% increase from the previous year. The distribution amount has grown by 94 million yuan compared to last year, representing a growth rate of 14.87%. The housing provident fund follows the one-year benchmark interest rate of 1.5% set by the People's Bank of China starting from the deposit date. June 30th is the annual distribution date, and the interest is reinvested automatically. The interest period spans from July 1st of the previous year to June 30th of the current year.
Depositors can check their housing provident fund interest distribution by visiting the sub-centers of the Changzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Center or using the "Changzhou Housing Provident Fund" official WeChat account, online service portal, or third-party online service channels.
