On July 10, Li Auto announced a significant milestone: cumulative deliveries of its L7 and L9 models have surpassed 200,000 units. Notably, the L7 has become the fastest model among new Chinese automotive brands to reach this milestone, achieving it in just 16 months.
The L7, which began deliveries in March 2023, recorded over 10,000 units in its first full month. Over the past year, it has become the top-selling SUV in China in the over 300,000 RMB price range. The 2024 model of the L7 features substantial upgrades, including SPA-level ten-point seat massage, a smart refrigerator with dual cooling and warming functions, magic carpet air suspension, and continuously evolving smart space and intelligent driving capabilities. The Ultra variant boasts a 52.3 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC electric-only range of 286 kilometers and a combined range of 1,421 kilometers.
Meanwhile, the L9 has distinguished itself as the first Chinese brand vehicle priced above 400,000 RMB to achieve over 10,000 deliveries in a single month. It has led the large SUV market for 19 consecutive months, setting new records for production and sales in its segment. In July, the L9 will be featured at the Beijing Auto Museum, making it the first extended-range electric vehicle to be exhibited there.
