On July 11, the 2023 Changzhou Public Institutions Energy Conservation Promotion Week was launched at the Xinbei District Library, with Vice Mayor Xu Huaqin in attendance.
The event urged government departments and institutions at all levels to prioritize energy conservation by establishing awareness, developing plans, implementing measures, conducting extensive publicity and education, and setting an example.
The Municipal Government Offices Administration signed strategic cooperation agreements with Changzhou Urban Construction (Group) Co., Ltd. and Zhonglou Jinlong Holdings Group Co., Ltd., to jointly promote the use of new energy in public institutions.
As part of the energy conservation promotion week, Changzhou will organize activities to introduce over 50 models from 19 new energy vehicle (NEV) suppliers into government institutions. This initiative aims to inspire government employees to lead by example in adopting NEVs and contribute to national goals of reducing carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.
