On the afternoon of May 20, the optical camera module project of AAC Technologies (AAC), a company based in Changzhou, was successfully signed at the 2nd Jiangsu Development Conference. The project is expected to invest 600 million US dollars.
A total of 32 major projects from the province were signed at the conference. Among them, AAC's optical camera module is one of the key contracted projects in the province. With a registered capital of 200 million US dollars, the project specializes in the production and research and development of modules, sensors and related chips. It is estimated that the annual sales will reach 10 billion yuan.
Founded in 1993, AAC Technologies has developed into an industry champion in several sub-sectors such as electromagnetic devices, RF antennas and precision structural components.
This newly signed project will improve the optical industry chain layout of AAC, enhance its leading position in the intelligent communication industry and further accelerate the development of Changzhou’s information technology industry.
