The Jiangsu Provincial Market Regulation Bureau has recently rolled out 23 measures aimed at stimulating economic recovery and promoting high-quality development.
The measures target five key areas: expanding consumption and investment, revitalizing market activity, enhancing industrial development support, fostering new quality productive forces, and improving regulation and services.
For instance, Jiangsu plans to encourage trade-in programs for consumer goods and accelerate the development of major scientific and technological projects. The province also intends to streamline approval procedures for business-related permits, establish comprehensive service centers for private enterprises and individual businesses, and work to lower financing costs.
Additionally, Jiangsu will continue to offer interest rate subsidies to eligible small and micro enterprises and ensure the protection of the legal rights and interests of all types of market entities. The province aims to drive technological breakthroughs, strengthen its inspection and testing systems, and promote the widespread adoption of a carbon labeling and certification system for products.
