On the evening of August 7, mayor Ding Chun received the delegation headed by Katsuya Sase, senior executive operating officer at Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on furthering the communication and cooperation.
Ding Chun briefed Katsuya Sase on the economic and social development of Changzhou. He said that Changzhou enjoys geographical advantages and convenient transportation in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In recent years, Changzhou has been striving to create an excellent business environment and continue to promote the development of advanced manufacturing industries. At present, Changzhou has more than 3,800 foreign-funded enterprises, including a number of Japanese-funded companies. Taiyo Yuden is a world leader in the relevant industry. He hopes the two sides will achieve strong alliances and seek common development.
Katsuy said that Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. has been established for nearly 70 years. In order to improve the brand value of the company, Taiyo Yuden is expanding into new areas of cooperation and looks forward to join hands with Changzhou.
