On November 5, the Home for Private Entrepreneurs was unveiled at Changzhou Association of Industry and Commerce. Xu Zhongzi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress and chairman of the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce, Han Jiuyun, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, director of Changzhou’s United Front Work Department and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changzhou Science & Education Town, and Zhao Zhengbin, vice chairman of the CPPCC Changzhou Municipal Committee, attended the event.
Xu Zhongzi said in his speech that Changzhou is the first in Jiangsu to establish a home for private entrepreneurs, which will also serve as an innovative platform for the city to promote its united front work in the private sector for an new era.
The Home for Private Entrepreneurs is set up in the rooms next to the office area of Changzhou General Chamber of Commerce on the 23rd floor of the Gongyuan Building. It is dedicated to displaying the achievements of Changzhou’s private sector development and that of the Association and its branches, as well as hosting lectures for the Association’s CPC members and organizing activities for member member enterprises. In addition to a nearly 1,000-square meter-large exhibition area divided into five sections with different themes, there are also dedicated rooms for CPC lectures, recreational activities and meetings with guests.
The Association will make an all-out effort to build the Home into an exemplified platform for advancing Changzhou’s united front work in the private sector.
As a part of the city’s initiative to create a better business environment, a health care “green channel” for private entrepreneurs in Changzhou was launched at the unveiling ceremony.
