On the afternoon of April 11, the 1st Jiangsu International Conference on Rural Revitalization was held in Liyang, Changzhou.
The conference was co-sponsored by Jiangsu Provincial Department Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Jiangsu Provincial Agricultural Commission, Nanjing Agricultural University, Xinhua Daily and Liyang City Government. It invited experts and scholars from China, Germany and Japan, as well as representatives from the sectors of business, finance and media to share their views and case studies, observe new changes in the countryside and analyze the enlightening practices.
The strategy of revitalizing rural areas is a significant decision made at the CPC's 19th National Congress and a great historical task to secure the decisive victory of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Jiangsu will fully implement the comprehensive deployment of the rural revitalization strategy, and promote agricultural and rural development towards the new journey of high quality progress.
