On July 25, it was learned from Changzhou Customs that a batch of sunflower oil imported from Ukraine with a total weight of 22 tons has successfully entered the Changzhou market after supervision. It took only three days for the sunflower oil to go from customs declaration to market launch. Changzhou Customs provided quick and convenient customs clearance services to help enterprises further improve the efficiency. In the first half of the year, the value of pre-packaged food imports in Changzhou exceeded the US$5 million mark, reaching US$5.26 million.
It is reported that in the past, imported Ukrainian sunflower oil must go through customs clearance and inspection separately at different authorities, which usually took about 5 days. Now, one-stop customs declaration and inspection services are available at Changzhou Customs, significantly improving the efficiency.
It is reported that from January to June this year, 679 batches of pre-packaged foods were imported to Changzhou, including new varieties such as puree, solid beverages, and pre-school children's formula milk powder.
