On the afternoon of October 9, Mayor Ding Chun met with Marty Curran, Exec VP/Innovation Officer at Corning Inc., at the Administration Center.
Ding Chun said that Changzhou is making efforts to build a high-quality industrial star city, and hopes to carry out in-depth cooperation with Corning to promote industrial transformation and upgrading and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. Changzhou governments at all levels will continue to promote Corning's development with the best service.
Marty Curran was appointed Corning’s first innovation officer in August 2012. In this role, Curran manages a portfolio of programs to increase the probability of success for new business opportunities. He is confident in the next step of cooperation between Changzhou and Corning.
