On January 22, the inaugural ceremony and annual conference of the China Council for the China-South Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance was held in Changzhou. The conference, sponsored by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Department of Vocational Education and Adult Education of MOE, was hosted by the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange of MOE, supported by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and organized by the Changzhou Institute of Information Technology.
Du Kewei, director of the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange of MOE, Li Xudong, director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of MOE, Yu Jie, researcher of the Department of Vocational Education and Adult Education of MOE, Chi Yu, deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and Wang Qiming, secretary of the CPC Committee of Changzhou Institute of Information Technology, attended the conference and delivered speeches.
The establishment of the China Council for the China-South Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance will further improve China's opening up, meet the needs of education reform and development, build a cooperation platform, enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation in vocational education, and contribute to building a closer community of fate between China and Africa.
