On July 11th, the industrial robot test lab of the Changzhou Institute of Measurement & Testing Technology opened to the media for the first time.
The lab is equipped with the accurate robot testing system. With devices like laser trackers, 6-DOF scanning & measuring arms, vibration signal analyzers and triaxial vibration sensors, lab workers collect and analyze data on position/gesture/trajectory precision and repeatability of 6 axial industrial robots. It is learned that the lab passed the site evaluations for CNAS and CMA on July 2nd and is now qualified to test and present test reports on industrial robots as a third-party examiner. The lab is also the first of its kind in Jiangsu to get this qualification.
Some industrial robot manufacturers in Changzhou have already asked the lab for testing and test reports this month. With the lab’s qualification, industrial robot makers in Changzhou and from nearby cities can save the trip to Beijing for such tests in the future.
