News came on May 6th that, Youôn, a bike-sharing company, has developed two models of hydrogen-powered e-bikes. Model Y400 is expected to enter the consumer market in the second half of this year.
At the factory site, Model Y200 hydrogen-powered e-bikes are rolling off the assembly line. In the fourth quarter of 2021, Youôn officially put 1,000 Y200 bikes into service, which made the company the first in China to achieve mass production of hydrogen-powered e-bikes.
Last year, the company’s smart manufacturing center, with an area of 42,000 ㎡, was put into use. Assembly lines for hydrogen e-bikes, fuel cells, smart locks, SMT and controllers are in full operation. With an annual production capacity of 5,000 fuel cells, the company will further promote the R&D and marketing of hydrogen-powered products, expanding the scale of production.
