From October 14-16, Kasaev Igor Valentinovich, president of the Government Procurement and Trade Committee of Stavropol, Russia, led a delegation to Changzhou. On the afternoon of October 14, deputy mayor Chen Zhengchun met with the delegation at the Administration Center.
Stavropol is the political, economic, technological, educational and cultural center of the North Caucasus. In 2014, Stavropol became an international friendship city with Changzhou. In recent years, the two sides have carried out exchanges and cooperation in various fields. In 2011, Stavropol’s Monocrystal PLC invested 30 million US dollars in the Photovoltaic Industrial Park in Xinbei district, engaged in research and development, production and sales of paste for solar cell electrode.
