On September 5, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) and Liyang jointly held the opening ceremony of the NUAA Tianmuhu Campus. NUAA’s Party Secretary Zheng Yongan and President Nie Hong, Changzhou’s Mayor Ding Chun and the leaders of Liyang attended the event.
In his speech, Ding Chun said that the opening of the NUAA Tianmuhu Campus is a milestone in Changzhou and Liyang’s development of higher education, which will have a significant and far-reaching impact on both the university and the city. He hopes that the two sides will work together to create a provincial model of industry - university - government Collaboration.
Zheng Yongan said that the NUAA Tianmuhu Campus will provide sufficient space for NUAA’s growth in the next two to three decades, providing a solid foundation for the development of civil aviation, navigation, flight and related disciplines as well as the training of high-quality personnel. NUAA will build the Tianmuhu campus into a new research and talent training center for the university and a new business card for Liyang.
