The Ministry of Education has recently unveiled its selection of the top 10 Most Beautiful College Students of 2023, among whom is Song Biao from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST), based in Changzhou.
Song is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation (Teaching) at JUST. Back in 2017, while studying at Changzhou Technician College in Jiangsu Province, Song Biao distinguished himself among a pool of over 1,200 contestants at the 44th WorldSkills Competition. His remarkable performance earned him the prestigious Albert Vidal Award, marking a historic achievement for Chinese participants.
Determined to impart his skills and experiences to the younger generation, Song declined lucrative job offers and opted to pursue further education, aspiring to become a “gardener of vocational education." On campus, he diligently hones his professional theoretical knowledge and enhances his teaching abilities. Additionally, he mentors students in skills competitions, yielding impressive results, including a bronze medal in the Industrial Mechanics category at the 45th WorldSkills Competition.
Through his inspiring journey of pursuing dreams, Song motivates more young aspirants, revitalizing the “dream of craftsmanship” with the vigor of “youthful aspirations.”
