The 7th edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), the world's first national-level expo dedicated to imports, kicked off on Tuesday in Shanghai.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivered the keynote address during the opening ceremony, which also marked the start of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum.
Running from November 5 to 10, this year's CIIE has attracted 3,496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions. The event also set a new record with 297 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders in attendance.
Over 400 new products, technologies, and services will debut during the expo, signaling global companies' strong confidence in the Chinese market and their commitment to continued growth in China, despite challenges posed by the global economic recovery.
