On the afternoon of October 25, the Romanian Arad delegation and Changzhou Tourism Bureau jointly held the Arad Tourism Promotion Seminar & “Entering Romania” Photography Exhibition. Chen Jianguo, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Municipal People's Congress, attended the event.
At the seminar, Changzhou International Exchange Center, Jiangsu Jingshang International Travel Service and Romanian Development Travel Service Company signed a cooperation agreement.
On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, a group of photographers organized by the China Radio and Television Photographers Association traveled to Romania and shot hundreds of pictures showing Romania's fascinating natural scenery and cultural customs. The Photography Exhibition will also be held in the Changzhou Museum for two weeks.
Arad is the capital city of Arad County, historically situated in the region of Crișana, and having recently extended on the left bank of the Mureș river, in Banatregion of western Romania. In August this year, Changzhou and the Arad City Council signed a letter of intent on establishing a friendship city relationship, and held a special fair in Arad to promote Changzhou’s culture and tourism cooperation projects.
