On March 23, the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science and Technology released the list of 2017 Chinese Unicorn Enterprises, involving a total of 164 companies across the country. Ninebot (Changzhou) Tech Co., Ltd. is on the list, which is so far the only unicorn enterprise in Changzhou.
Unicorn enterprises refer to those founded within 10 years whose estimated value surpassed $1 billion.
Ninebot (Changzhou) Tech is seated in the second R&D center and key logistics base in the Yangtze River Delta. It integrates R&D, production, testing, sales and e-commerce. It is also an intelligent product industrialization base for the self-balancing scooter of Millet, hoverboard, and Segway Robot - Loomo, etc. Last year, a number of new products of the company were released or launched, including Ninebot miniPRO, Segway Kids Bike, No. 9 Balancing Scooter Plus, No. 9 E-balance Scooter and CityGo Urban hoverboard. In 2017, Last year, the company made sales of over 1 billion yuan. Its sales revenue is expected to grow by 50% or more this year.
