On the morning of January 19, the first batch of 7 projects altogether with a total investment of 1.045 billion yuan was signed into Changzhou National High-Tech District (CND). These projects are involved in the fields of intelligent equipment, innovation, life health, industrial interconnection and so on, which are in line with the city's development strategies in a new round of promotion of the ten pillar industrial chains.
Party Secretary Wang Quan said at the signing ceremony that the first batch of key projects signed into the CND showed a good start in the introduction and construction of major projects in 2019. The promotion of major projects is the key to strengthening development, accelerating structural adjustment and nurturing new driving forces. Changzhou will thoroughly implement the principles of the provincial conference for opening-up, constantly upgrade the platforms, continuously deepen the reform of "distribution services" and vigorously create a first-class business environment.
Zhou Bin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changzhou National High-Tech District, said that in 2019, the district will strive to introduce 110 to 120 high-quality projects, and accelerate the construction of a number of characteristic industrial parks such as the Sino-Swiss (Changzhou) Industrial Park.
Vice Mayor Liang Yibo attended the event.
