Jiuquan city delegation visits Changzhou

On May 17, Tang Peihong, mayor of Jiuquan Municipal People’s Government, led a delegation to Changzhou. Mayor Sheng Lei accompanied the delegation during their visit to Segway-Ninebot, Jiuxin Meditech Group, and Horwin Inc.

Segway-Ninebot specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of high-performance smart electric scooters. The company achieved sales revenue of 2.8 billion yuan last year.

Jiuxin Meditech Group specializes in the design, production, and installation of top-of-the-line clean operating room equipment and medical devices. It has successfully built more than 7,000 operating rooms and ICUs for over 700 hospitals across China.

Horwin Inc. focuses on technological advancements in e-mobility and primarily engages in the research, development, and production of smart electric motorcycles.

During the visit, Tang Peihong expressed deep admiration for Changzhou's robust industrial foundation as a leading manufacturing city. He also expressed a desire to strengthen exchanges with Changzhou in areas such as clean energy, biomedicine, and the digital economy. Such collaborations would enhance the resilience and competitiveness of both cities' industries and supply chains.

Sheng Lei emphasized Changzhou's "532" development strategy and the progress made in establishing itself as a "new energy capital." She acknowledged Jiuquan's role as a prominent demonstration area for new energy development and utilization. Sheng expressed hope for expanded cooperation between the two sides across various sectors, promoting high-quality and mutually beneficial development.
